Compass Point Preschool offers a full-day 3K and 4K program that is free to eligible students. Located on the Northeastern Technical College-Cheraw campus, and operated in partnership with Chesterfield County First Steps, Compass Point is led by highly qualified staff. Kelly Branch, Lead Teacher, along with teacher assistants, provide a positive and encouraging environment for student learning. Compass Point offers meals, and snacks for all enrolled students. The classroom employs best practices in early education to prepare children for kindergarten. Students must be four years of age by September 1 of the school year. Compass Point was the county’s first DSS Child Care Quality (ABC) A-rated childcare center.
