Child Care Technical Assistance & Coaching

Intensive support to child care centers, Head Start and preschool classrooms to improve quality

Child Care Technical Assistance & Coaching programs promote quality in child care by providing early educators with one-on-one coaching and support. Classroom educators work with Technical Assistance Providers (TAPs) to set goals, review progress, and improve their strategies and skills over time.

How It Works

Over a one-year period, participating classrooms receive rigorous quality assessments, on-site technical assistance at least twice monthly, a minimum of 8 hours of training, and funding for equipment and materials.
